TGC were quick off the mark in this game, gaining both RLs and the Quad before DF had chance to get anything. TGC took an early lead through good use of the quad.
DF soon started to come back, and it wasn't long before Gaz took the lower RL room and EvilGoblin started gibbing on the YA teleport stairs. Despite our good positioning, TGC still managed to get a good proportion of the Quads. However, they invariably headed towards the lower RL room, from where Gaz and Grendel filled the long corridor with rockets thus denying TGC full usage of the quad.
Once we had established our positions, Mirage then started to run the quad. He scored well and helped to ensure that Gaz held the lower RL for most of the game.
In the last 5 minutes, TGC started to come back, but it was way too late at that stage. It was a good game where the advantage changed hands a number of times, however we made the times we were in control pay.
